Lapping Bar Graphs September 22 2014

What at first glance seems like a normal bar graph is in fact the Regional High School Champion of Bar Graph City. The bars for Nevada and Arizona reach the rightmost end of the chart, turn around, and start going back to the left!

Nevada has so many farms it almost laps itself. I’ll say the graph doesn’t do a fantastic job conveying the exact size of farms, since it makes you do far too much math to figure that out, but it does get the point across that farms in Nevada are by far the largest. Eat Nevada's and Arizona's shorts, unfolded-bar states.
